Generally speaking, puppies are very receptive to not only learning his duties and responsibilities, but whatever games and tricks you would like to teach him. However, before you begin teaching him games or ignoring his adorable puppy behavior, you need to ask yourself if his actions will still be cute when he is full grown.

All breeds of dogs can be taught to “give”, “bring” and “fetch”. This is especially true if you own a sporting dog in which you plan on hunting with at some point.

You will want to teach the dog to “drop it” or “give” on command. At the same time, you will need to teach him or her to “fetch”. Otherwise, you will spend the majority of your hunting time trying to retrieve the bird from the dog’s mouth.
